Hotel

Relaxed quarters in a low-key hotel with a seasonal outdoor pool, plus free breakfast & parking.

What an excellent experience in an awesome hotel. We only stayed for an overnight but it was absolutely perfect. The host that greeted us, Sharon, was phenomenal. She was friendly and answered all of our questions as well as offered further assistance if we needed. The breakfast was both warm and portable if need be. Lastly, our room was SO clean. 10/10

Clean, bright, nice room and good breakfast with many options. The waffle machine makes great waffles. One thing my wife looks for is a long bathroom counter so she has room for all her toiletries. Nice long counter. One thing that is needed because the tub is slick is grab bar or two on the inside shower walls. That would be good. Very comfortable king bed. Reasonable price. Will stay there again.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay here. The staff was very kind and welcoming, the room was incredible, and everything about this place screams welcome home.I had a small issue with the bedside lamp not working properly (I had to jury-rig it to get it working,) and I definitely heard more than one dog barking through the doors and walls, but for me it's not worth down voting. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone who asks.

Room was ok except for traffic noise. Back of bathroom door is scraped up . Our check in was great. Will was professional and friendly. Morning . Some guy trying to look like Kenny Rogers walking around like Dolly just died. I would say he is the boss!!! Stern words for every employee at front desk and serving breakfast. It made them all go into bad attitudes. No name tag or smile on Kenny look a like. But needs a class or two on how to treat people.

The hotel is very clean, you can tell those that work there take pride in their work and serving others. The beds and pillows slept well. Susie making breakfast for the guest was kind, ready to serve the guest with a smile. Breakfast was great. There was a great variety of breakfast items to choose from, boiled eggs, Scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal and so much more. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind when we head back to Maryland 😊

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was HUGE (I was booked in to room 328), well decorated, very clean and comfortable. There is a free breakfast with lots of options. Every staff member was pleasant. I will stay here again when in the area for work. Great value!! The only negatives are the interstate noise and the parking lot entrance could use some repair.

Checking in i found i would need a larger room for a meeting. Stephanie, who was working the front desk, provided outstanding service in changing my room and made sure my party were on the same floor. What really stood out was that she did all this with a genuine willingness to help and with a smile! I didn't get the " look " and " I'll see what I can do" . She made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is also excellent! I've stayed there twice now and will be back. Highly recommend this hotel

I just check out... Front desk was incredible, a really nice lady. The rooms,... what can I said. They look good but they are not that good, hair on the tub, air conditioning vent was dirty. ( forgot to take a picture), but a friend in the bed that bite my son. I do recommend the hotel to check more on the cleaning.

As a business traveler, I stayed in 204 different choice hotel nights last year. I can definitely appreciate why this hotel has enjoyed so many awards (proudly displayed).Top notch beyond comfortable bed and clean room. The room was huge with awesome furnishings. I hate that hotel properties are stepping away from carpet but I understand their business decision. At least my socks were still clean when I changed to put on my boots. (Not the case in majority I have patroned)Incredible breakfast as well. Amazing staff. I'm afraid my former regular hotel of Bristol has lost my frequent stays. Great job for country inn and suites!

This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Abingdon, on our way from Texas to Pennsylvania. This will always be one of our stops. The staff is so kind and helpful and the cleanliness is always a 10!!! Thank you for such a restful stay during a long drive.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and super clean, with a great friendly staff who answered all our questions and bent over backwards to make sure we had a great stay. Our reservation included breakfast which was wonderful and plentiful. Price was also very reasonable. This was our first time staying at a Country Inn by Radisson and we loved it! Highly recommend this location.

Wow! This was a perfect stay from the second we walked in and smelled the freshly baked cookies. Beautifully cleaned room, comfortable bed. Saw many dogs coming in and out but never heard a one. Fitness room was great. 2 treadmills, elyptical and weight machine. Breakfast included with waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and healthy options. Mostly loved the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. I hope this hotel continues to thrive. Beautiful stay.

We had been traveling across the country from CA to VA and this was our last booked hotel on our trip. We stayed for only a day but wow how nice it was to rest up and catch some z’s here! Check in was smooth and the person who checked us in was very friendly. Price was great and we brought our dog and pet fee was about $30 I believe. We were placed on the 1st floor, and though the hallways seemed a bit outdated our room, the lobby, and breakfast area was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast they had and probably was the best one we had out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip. Location wasn’t bad, it’s right off the interstate and you couldn’t even hear the cars or anything even though it’s so close. If I had to travel again I’d definitely come back and book here. We were happy with our stay!

We booked this hotel after staying at 6 other hotels during a road trip and picked it based on reviews and ratings as we do most of our hotels. This hotel was completely opposite of what our experience has been with Country Inn and Suites and very opposite other reviews. The room was dirty with dead bugs on the floors, all around the room as if someone just swept them against the walls. There was hair everywhere! On the air conditioner, in the bathroom, in the bedroom area. It is VERY outdated from the hotel itself to the beds and furniture and is very dingy feeling. The bed skirts should just be thrown away as they were disgusting and made it feel worse. I didn’t want to sleep under the covers so my husband was going to grab the extra blanket as most guests don’t use it. Any other hotel we have ever been to, this extra blanket is folded and in a bag that is sealed and locked to indicate if it was used, it was replaced and/or washed. This looked like someone had gotten it out and just shoved it back in the bag. Will NEVER stay here again and definitely does not represent the Country Inn & Suites name well from our experience at all

I have stayed in many hotels over the years and i can definitively say this one is the best bang for buck. The rooms were very clean. Had a fridge and microwave in the room. Lastly, the impressive continental breakfast: obviously it was not like dining at a restaurant, but it was very nice and had tons of variety. A waffle machine, sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs and cheese, muffins, cereal, fruit, peanut butter, oatmeal, assorted juices, milk, almond milk. Also for those checking in late like us there is coffee in the lobby overnight. All this for a total of 97$ after tax.

Most friendly staff. Real breakfast free. Always have fresh cookies at front desk. We stayed three days was really nice. Good location to food fun and shopping. Close to Damascus and Grayson Highlands State park. Dog friendly as well.

Everything was great. Pet friendly. We have a huge dog and has no issues. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Coffee maker in room and in lobby. Even got a decaf coffee from lobby at night and it was hot. Breakfast was good. Had waffle, biscuit and gravy, eggs, and sausage, milk, and coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty decent place. Had a Keurig in the room which was a nice change from the usual coffee maker. Beds were ok. Breakfast was filling. I had waffles, bacon and eggs, a blueberry muffin and two milks.

Stayed here due to some car trouble on the way home from vacation. Convenient location and great breakfast. Person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful when we checked in and a good night's sleep. However my biggest issue was the following morning. Checkout was at 12 noon and i asked to be sure that was correct. House keeping kept coming into the room unannounced. Three different people knocked and immediately came in without ever announcing that they were housekeeping before we could say anything. The third time was a man and luckily my wife had just finished changing clothes right before he came in without announcing and waiting for a response. I understand that they are doing their jobs but if it is still not checkout time they should never assume the room is empty before then. Should announce that they are housekeeping and wait to see if somebody responds. I was in and out of the room alot as I was working on our car so she was alone alot of the time having to deal with this. She did not lock the deadbolt since I was going back to the room. we did not have a do not disturb sign to hang on the door to help avoid the issue. Everything else was great but multiple employees coming into our room unannounced on my wife while she is alone is unacceptable and extremely uncomfortable.

Stayed here on a trip to WV! Loved the location. Just a couple of exits from major restaurants. Quiet area. Well lit parking lot! Beds, comforter, pillows, & towels were all wonderful!! I’ll be staying here again when I go back toward WV!

Easy access from highway, a clean bed with super soft sheets, and an extremely clean bathroom. Exceeded expectations. Check in was a bit slow but I had no reservation and staff was helpful once it was my turn at desk

We stay here often. The biggest issue is being anywhere near the lobby... the morning staff is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD starting as early as 7am. People come to sleep and having a bunch of people yelling back and forth outside of guest rooms is completely unacceptable. This is a constant problem and this last stay may have been our last. We will try one of the other hotels in the area next time.
